Bike bags are designed to protect your bike from light impacts received during transit, commonly used by globe trotting recreational or sporting cyclists. Bike bags often have padded internal separators to protect from impact and prevent abrasions and scratching of the bikes frame. Generally made from resilient rip-stop nylon, most bags have internal and/or external pockets to hold smaller objects and accessories and generally are suited to both road or mountain bikes.
