Tyre Liners
Tyre liners are designed to provide an additional rubber shield between the tyre and tube to aid in the prevention of punctures. The resilient surface of the tyre liner protects the inner tube from road or trail debris like thorns, broken glass and other sharp objects. Tyre liners work extremely effectively with many cyclists not experiencing any flats whatsoever. Rim tape is designed to prevent the spokes nipples rubbing against the inner tube causing the tubes surface to be broken down or pierced resulting in a puncture, especially in circumstances where the tube is under high pressure inflation.
