Track Hubs
Track hubs are traditionally a fixed gear, which means the rider cannot coast, however flip-flop hubs are now commonly used. Flip-flop hubs enable a rider to switch between a fixed or freewheeling option. Track hubs are also used on many single-speed road messenger bikes because of their lightweight, responsiveness and affordability when compared to regular freehub wheels.
