The dog basket will support a reasonable weight ( say 5-8kg) as it is attached to the bike at 2 points.
1. with legs to the bike axle/quick release
2. to the headstem
If you have a reasonably heavy dog you should consider a rear pet basket as a big load in the front may be harder to steer. |
